The short version
- Quiz answers never leave your browser.
- Two analytics tools (PostHog and Google Analytics 4) see pages and events — not identities.
- The only personal data we ever hold is an email address you gave us on purpose.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade data. There is nothing here to sell.
What stays in your browser
The pattern checks and quizzes run entirely on your device. Your answers are saved to your browser's local storage so you can close the page and resume later — they are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data erases them completely.
The same storage holds a silent backup copy of email forms you started, so a failed submission isn't lost. It stays local under the same rules.
What we measure
Like nearly every site, we measure traffic and usage — with two tools, chosen because both publish what they collect and let you opt out:
- PostHog (PostHog Inc., US cloud): page views, clicks and interactions, quiz events such as started or completed, device and browser type, and a rough location derived from IP (country or city level). No names, no email addresses, no quiz answer content.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): page views and the same quiz events. GA4 sets the
_gacookies described below and assigns your browser a random client ID. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses.
What neither tool receives: your email address, the content of your quiz answers, or anything you type into the contact form.

Every mainstream browser lets you delete cookies and site data, browse in private mode, or install an extension that blocks analytics scripts outright. MysticDo works fully without any of this storage — blocking analytics costs you nothing except our ability to see which pages help.
Email: the only personal data we hold
- Subscribing (the join page and email forms across the site) sends your address to MailerLite, the email delivery service we use. It is used to send exactly what you signed up for, and nothing else. Every message carries a working unsubscribe link.
- The contact form delivers your message and reply address to contact@mysticdo.com through Cloudflare's email routing. We reply from that address, and the correspondence stays in that mailbox.
We don't add anyone to a list they didn't ask for, and we don't share or swap email lists.
Outbound partner links
When you click through to a reading platform or provider, you leave MysticDo — from that moment their privacy policy governs. We receive only an anonymous click event (which page, which link was clicked). We never receive your name, your email, or anything you do after the click.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade personal data.
- Run advertising or retargeting pixels.
- Build advertising profiles of visitors.
- Email you about anything you didn't opt into.
- Ask for sensitive information — there are no accounts and no payments on MysticDo.
Your choices
- Analytics: block both tools with standard browser tools or extensions (for Google Analytics specifically, Google offers an official opt-out browser add-on). The site remains fully usable.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any message — or write to contact@mysticdo.com and we will remove you.
- Anything else: if you want your email address deleted from our list and mailbox, say the word. We have no database of personal data beyond it, which makes that request easy to honor completely.
